Using a Triple Beam Balance & a Graduated Cylinder

We had a lot of fun in science class today. First, we learned how to use a three beam balance and we measured a bunch of different things. We measured our staplers, and our red folders. In the meantime, another group was converting measurments. We had a lot of fun and Mr. Sherman did a really good job explaining to us if we needed help. He is the greatest teacher ever!

hey momoluvspink good post with the conversion of measurements we converted milliliters of water (in a graduated cylnder) into liters. And the width of a clipboard, a red folder, a science book, and your pencil we converted into decimeters and meters. It was a really fun class. good post, again! - qwerty12345 -

This was a great class. I really feel like I know how to use the triple beam balance and how to read a graduated cylinder. Does anyone have any questions I can answer?

cool teacher dude: for the triple beam balance is it exactly like the scales in the doctors office??are the measurements the same?

~HEYYitsAGC:P

Mr. Sherman's Science Class said...

HeyyAGC...you're right. It is just like the scales at the doctor's office. Maybe next time you go you can tell them you know how to do it. Maybe they'll even let you do it yourself
